Michael Dixon

Michael leads Workshop Digital’s Human Resources team with more than 10 years of HR expertise. He is committed to fostering a culture of empathy and inclusion while aligning team member needs with Workshop Digital’s vision.

A Washington, D.C. native, Michael found his way to Richmond, VA following high school where he entered the marketing and human resource arenas at a well-known firm. Since then, Michael has held positions in higher education, government, and healthcare, but has made his return to marketing. As an HR executive, he has championed the redesign of core business processes, fostered inclusive, equitable, and diversified cultures, as well as transformed communication channels with internal and external customers.

Michael earned a B.S. and M.S. in Applied Mathematics from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is proud to be a founding member of the Society for Human Resource Management Executive Network (SHRM – EN). He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, collecting LEGOs, and woodworking.
